Linda L. Schwichtenberg, P.A.
Attorney at Law
Linda earned her undergraduate degree in 1988 and her law degree in 1991 at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Prior to opening her own practice in 1997, Linda worked for three law firms. Linda has successfully defended trial verdicts through appeals, and has changed the law through appellate opinions. With the help of her team, her firm has obtained successful jury verdicts and settlements for men, women, and children who were injured or killed as a result of negligence.
These successful claims include injuries from car crashes, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, dog bites, criminal assaults, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, defective products, and defective hot water heaters that caused burns.
Her legal memberships span local, state, and national organizations and include Florida Justice Association, Central Florida Trial Lawyers,The Florida Bar, and Martindale. These organizations are for attorneys who represent those who are injured through the mistakes of others. Through these, she remains current with changes and innovations in the law. In addition, she regularly attends continuing legal education seminars, which address changes in the law, as well as ways to be a more efficient and effective lawyer.
Taking the time to meet with clients one-on-one allows Linda to fully understand their specific claims. Friends and family refer most of her clients, and those word-of-mouth referrals reflect the great relationships that she has built with her clients over the years.
After growing up on Air Force bases worldwide, Linda’s family settled in Florida while she was in elementary school. Shortly after receiving her law degree, Linda moved to Orlando to practice law and has lived there ever since.
When Linda is not practicing law, her favorite activity is spending time with her husband, Bill, of 25 years and their two sons. She also takes pleasure in riding her horse, enjoying the beach and curling up with a good book.
Justin Cole
Paralegal
Justin earned his Legal Studies Degree from the University of Central Florida and began working at the law firm in 2005.
He likes to take the time to understand the needs of each client and to work with him or her through a process that can be confusing and overwhelming. Helping clients through a difficult time by providing clear guidance brings Justin great pleasure.
Justin was born and raised in Miami, Florida and remains a fan of the Miami Dolphins despite the many, many, many years of disappointment. Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked for a vendor at Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, and Islands of Adventure.
Currently, Justin lives in Altamonte Springs where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sandra, as well as friends and family. When time allows, you can find him being physically active and outdoors. He has had the opportunity to run the Disney Marathon and Half-Marathon, and bikes regularly on Orlando’s many trails.
Leia
Office Dog
Leia began her training here as a pup. She is an ambitious, friendly golden retriever, and has worked hard to prove that she belongs out of the crate. (Although, you’ll have to ask for her, since we still keep her in the crate until we know that you’d like a happy dog to join you in the office.)
She is part comfort animal and part court jester. She really wanted to be our office shredder too, but she’s mostly outgrown that phase. Today she focuses on maintaining our office culture, and ensuring that we all take breaks occasionally.
